Cities
Toronto, Ontario
The largest city in all of Canada, Toronto is a bustling city that is an economic hub as well as a must see for any vacation. Toronto is located on the shore of the Great Lake, Ontario. The city has three rivers, islands, harbor and ravines, which provide natural irrigation. Some interesting activities to do in Toronto are visiting CN Tower, eating and shopping in one of Toronto’s many underground facilities, and joining Canadians for the the Caribana parade, which is the largest single-day parade and largest Caribbean festival in North America. Also, not that far from Toronto the Algonquin Provincial Park. This reserve is the most popular attraction in all of Canada.
Ottawa, Ontario
Ottawa, Ontario is the capital city of Canada. Nestled on the south bank of the Ottawa River, Ottawa is where all federal government action takes place. People will be able to soak up the rich history of all Canada while walking down the streets of this city. Attractions available in the city are the Laurier House, the Parliament building, the Rideau Canal, the Canadian Supreme Court, and the Upper Canada Village.
Montreal, Quebec
Located on an island in Quebec, Montreal is the second largest city in Canada and a major port destination. The island’s residence where the St. Lawrence and Ottawa rivers meet, made it an ideal location for the new French settlers. The first settlement was first established at the base of Mount Royal and has since then spread around the mountain. Even though it is almost always below freezing year round, people of Montreal have found a creative ways to enjoy warm weather activities by creating underground establishments. Large sections of the city are composed of these underground tunnels and in these structures you can even enjoy the pleasures of shopping and eating at fancy restaurants. Tourists may also enjoy a nature hike on Mount Royal.

The Core Provinces mainly uses motorized vehicles and highways as transportation also a small amount of railways go through the core province of Canada.
Culture
The Core Provinces of Canada are more modernized than the rest of the country because it’s provinces are the leading economic machines in the country. Citizens in the Core Provinces, like most of Canada, speak English and French. The Core Provinces are Ontario and Quebec. The people who live here are proud of their English and French heritage, their roots stretch back decades upon decade in the past. Some of the religious beliefs you will find here are the Protestant faith and Catholic faith. The Core Provinces have highest populations.
