The Calgary, Alberta is one of the top five largest cities in Canada. Running through the heart of the city is the Bow River and the Elbow River. The city is home to large oil reserves and the city also sits near the Canadian Rockies. The Calgary stands tall among the prairie lands surrounding it. Tourists can explore the Banff National Park or the Rocky Mountains, which are only 120 km away. If you want to stay in the city, you can visit Calgary Tower, Saddledome or Prince’s Island.
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
The beautiful city of Saskatoon is large metropolitan city, with South Saskatchewan River flowing through it’s core. This city is very much known for it’s beauty and culture in Canada. People can do a variety of activities when staying here, such as taking a nice walk in the Meewasin Valley, visiting the Mendel Art Gallery, or visiting Ukrainian Museum of Canada.
Winnipeg, Manitoba
The city of Winnipeg is positioned just south of Lake Winnipeg. The city has a river, the Red River, running through it’s heart. It has a neat geographical location because it is halfway between Canada’s East Coast and West Coast. Winnipeg has western style architecture and is a key grain handling and transportation center. It is the capital city of Manitoba.

The native tribes that originally lived here were the Siouan, Blackfoot, Gros Ventre, and Assiniboine.
